Final Mile Ink Areonips are created for breast cancer survivors after mastectomy, breast reduction/enlargement surgery or botched breast surgery through highly specialized, expert fine art skill that looks ‘Michealangelo’ by world renowned photo-realist painter and Areonip Architect Catniss (Cathi) Locati. Catniss has spent the past 25 years developing her brand name, fine artist credentials and fine art value with international exhibits in Monaco; French Riviera, New York City, NY Art Expo, Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, NYC, California, Montana, Cayman Islands, Washington, Utah, Connecticut.
Cathi's murals can be found all over the nation, many in Washington state (Port Townsend & Seattle), Montana (Laurel, Billings, Bozeman) and New York (Tarrytown). Cathi enjoyed being a practicing professional fine artist and Areonip Architect for nine years in Tarrytown, NY before expanding Final Mile Ink to the West coast (Seattle) in the spring of 2016.
By popular demand from breast cancer survivors over the next 4 years 2016 - 2020, Cathi returned to NY over a dozen times to perform her Areonip procedure. Changing her artist's name to Catniss in Jan 2020, she decided to move back to the East coast unfortunately a few months before Covid 19 pandemic began in March 2020, Seattle, Wa. Leaving all personal belongings and paintings behind she 'ran' with the pandemic, though disabled and kept ahead of the curve by serving all survivors on the East coast after her arrival and quarantine in May 2020.
Catniss is established to travel worldwide serving survivors bi-coastal; from the East coast to the West coast while teaching art lessons in drawing, painting, sewing; Connecticut, New York. [CatnissArtRanch.ink]
Because Cathi is a cervical cancer survivor and breast reduction patient, she has personally experienced surgically altered breasts and areola’s so she has built Final Mile Ink using her fine art minimalist technique (less is more) with full focus on the comfort and ease of the patient experience.
Catniss opened Galleri Way and Art Club in Ridgefield, CT 2020 during the pandemic offering Draw, Paint and Sew Classes as well as solo exhibits of her artwork through April 2021. She has held positions as Account Executive for Kinkos and Director of Career Services at Career Education Corporation, White Plains, NY, as well as founder and executive Director of Burnt Purple in Utah, an artist’s co-op gallery. Cathi was Director of Spy Art in Park City, Utah which provided high-end fine art during Sundance Film Festivals.
Born in Kennewick, Washington and raised in Billings, Montana; representing the state of Montana in the Miss USA pageant in 1981 as Miss Montana USA, Catniss represents the beauty industry from the inside out as expert female micropigmentation specialist / Areonip Architect, providing the medical version of areola and nipple tattoos, the AREONIP.
