1. SECTION ONE: Areonip Architect Cathi Locati Biography
Currently based out of the Seattle, Washington area, Cathi Locati has 30 years experience as a practicing, professional photorealism fine art painter and has exhibited in Monaco, the French Riviera, NY Art Expo, Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, NYC. As a professional portrait and anatomy artist, no other areola provider has a lifetime of skill and training as thorough as Cathi Locati.
Cathi has held positions as Account Executive for Kinkos and Director of Career Services at Career Education Corporation, as well as founder and Gallery Director of Burnt Purple in Utah, which is an artist’s co-op gallery. She was Director of Spy Art in Park City, Utah which provided high-end fine art during Sundance Film Festivals. Born in Washington state and raised in Montana representing the state of Montana in Donald Trumps’ Miss USA pageant in 1981 as Miss Montana USA, Cathi represents the beauty industry from the inside out as a female Areonip Architect or Medical Pigmentation Expert. Cathi spent the last nine years living in Tarrytown, NY where she trained to become Areonip Architect working with major Plastic Surgery centers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Europe. Cathi recently expanded her practice to Seattle and neighboring states, Hawaii, California, Guam, Asia, Canada. Cathi is mobile and can travel anywhere in the world to perform the cathi.ink Areonip procedure.
Cathi is a cervical cancer survivor and breast reduction patient. She knows first hand, how it feels and what's involved in having breasts removed, altered and put back on! She has designed the entire cathi.ink process with you in mind providing the very best private and compassionate experience, because she's been there, like you.

2. SECTION TWO: Final Mile Ink Areonip Procedure
The cathi.ink Areonip is PERMANENT.
(surgeons and nurses doing the areola tattoo themselves without training, use wrong temporary ink that fades quickly and disappears).
When you're looking for someone to do your areola and nipple MicroPigmentation: surgeons, nurses, tattoo artists and you're looking to speak to them on the phone, all the questions you need to ask can be found in the dropdown at the top of this page: FAQ's. Feel free to print this list and bring it with you. A colleague of mine, Vinnie Myers and I agree, "surgeons should not be doing areola tattooing". (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, May 2014).
Areonip Architect uses topical anesthesia (no injection, surface cream only) for your comfort and ease of process providing a more than tolerable experience because trademarked “brush” strokes for easiest experience of patient are in play. Final Mile Ink technique is NOT your typical areola tattoo. Breast cancer survivor areola patients who undergo the medical version of an areola tattoo with the Final Mile Ink Areonip Procedure agree on the comfort issue: they felt little sensation and what was experienced was more than tolerable for the duration of each session. Those who had areola tattoos in the past also state that cathi.ink is easier and nearly pain-less, unlike the regular areola tattoo experience. Cathi.ink is different because of the use of the flutter stroke which makes it easy to tolerate. This is a non-surgical procedure where ink is implanted under the first two layers of your skin, needles DO NOT enter your body or your breast implants, they are safe and never touched by MicroPigmentation.
Micropigmentation is covered by health insurance however cathi.ink is an out of network provider. Check your out of network benefits and deductibles to see if you qualify. Pay out of pocket to cathi.ink then get reimbursed. All information insurance needs is provided (including CPT and ICD codes, Tax ID #, etc….) on the invoice emailed to you from Paypal (you do not need your own Paypal account). Personal financing is available, please mention this to Cathi to set up a payment plan that works for you if needed.
Each session lasts about 1 -2 hours depending on your needs and situation. You are involved and watching with a mirror, I have you stand up often and check with gravity how things are looking so we can be in agreement. We are artists together! You will enjoy the private, medically clean, sterile, sanitized studio and equipment surrounded by artwork and paintings to help you relax and trust the artist.
There is an anticipated, expected fade factor after each session. Your areola's and nipples will be noticeably too dark, too red when you leave the areola studio after each session (tiny pinpoints of very red blood are visible and ooze during the healing process). Each cathi.ink areonip is unique and separate from the other, there is a distinct left areola/nipple and a distinct right areola/nipple, made to custom fit each BCS’s individual breast situation and ethnicity (color matching of skin tone and hair color is taken into account). Cathi also takes into account the cancer removal location, the remaining condition of the breast(s) skin, subsequent scarring.
There is no down time! You're good to go and do whatever you'd like afterward, HOWEVER - DO NOT ENTER HOT TUBS, SWIMMING POOLS until at least two weeks after each session. Take care of yourself to avoid infection. A detailed list of after care instructions is given to you and we discuss at length proper after care.
UNILATERAL PATIENTS ONLY: BOTH areolas and nipples will be implanted with permanent ink creating a convincing pair that match each other at each session, both times, no exceptions. I use topical anesthetics that work very well and I work fast with the existing and live areola/nipple, using the same colors I used to create the illusion areola beforehand. You will never again see just one, then the other – you will always see a beautiful pair! To be more specific: both the illusion side (the side that had cancer) AND the existing side (the side that didn't have cancer) will be modified at the same time, using anesthetics, no exceptions, both sessions.

3. SECTION THREE: Artistic Services in MicroPigmentation
Semi-Permanent Cosmetics are also offered for the eyebrow and lips of the face. As a professional portrait painter with fine art shows in Monaco, French Riviera, NY Art Expo, Amsterdam Whitney Gallery to name a few, artist Cathi Locati has a lifetime fine art education and experience pertaining to the face. Her artistic skill allows an overview from all angles in providing anatomically correct eyebrows and lips in Micropigmentation.
Final Mile Ink Areonip Procedure pricing is the same for unilateral or bilateral patients: $950 per session (base price, depending on the severity of your situation and individual needs, prices may vary). Two sessions are mandatory for unilateral and repair patients, two sessions recommended for bilateral patients, 3- 6 weeks after the first session whenever possible.
Travel arrangements and travel pricing: Groups of 5 patients (minimum or more) in one geographic location booking in the same week allows Cathi Locati to travel to you, fairly and evenly splitting travel fees between that group served, with paid second session commitments required at beginning of booking. Travel fees for Cathi to travel to you (Seattle to anywhere in the United States) is $1500 per session (two sessions often necessary). International travel figured separately.
Scar Camouflage is offered if you have obvious scars outside of the areola perimeter that you would like to conceal quicker than waiting for the years long scar fading process and is priced at $300 one time fee, in addition to base price for Areonip procedure.
Areola and Nipple Repair is a category for anyone who has remaining issues after surgeries have been exhausted and pricing is set accordingly depending on your case, but start @ $950 per session. Cathi will work with you to achieve the repair you are seeking. Please fill out the contact form (#4) after you've visited #3 Fine Art under START HERE and describe what you need...

Surgeons and nurses should NOT be doing areola Micropigmentation!
4. SECTION FOUR: Nipple reconstruction surgery cessation:
From an Areonip Architects' point of view Cathi sees many different surgeon's reconstructive work. Fina Mile Ink feels the most effective and least invasive experience for the patient is best when nipple reconstruction surgery is not done at all (no matter what technique is used to accomplish surgically attached or altered nipples, nearly all of them flatten out over time and do not remain erect so why subject yourself to unnecessary additional cost, increased healing time, stress, pain and suffering?) Since you are looking for aesthetically pleasing nipples that look great but have no feeling or function why not consider Micropigmentation instead of more surgery to achieve the most real-looking FULL COLOR nipples that are 3D and last forever? Each time cathi is presented with nipples that have flattened out or are too high or too low, too big or too small or in the wrong place all together, or asymmetrical to each other, the difficulty in correcting these mistakes with Micropigmentation rises. Cathi is forced to start with what is presented after errors are caused instead of having a lovely blank canvas. When nipple surgery is done first, the final result for the patient is not the best it can be had no nipples been surgically created in the first place. And remember there is no surgical solution to attaching permanent color to the skin, no matter what your medical professional says.
Areola reconstruction surgery cessation:
Also from an Areonip Architect's professional opinion, when areola cutting is performed where surgical cuts are made in a circular pattern in an attempt to simulate an areola, the final outcome fails 9 out of 10 times. The most effective and least invasive experience for the patient is best when surgical areola reconstruction is not done at all. Patients greatly dislike the white ring of scarring which accomplishes the opposite of the original intention and actually emphasizes the lack of colored areolas.
Areola cutting and scarring is usually too big, too small, squared corners instead of round, misplaced and/or out of alignment and causes more work to 'fix' than had the cuts had not been made at all. Neither nipple nor areola surgery is as successful as the patient would like and puts you under more unnecessary duress when MicroPigmentation is so simple, quick, less invasive, no down time, and cheaper in the long run. There is no surgical solution to attaching color to skin. Only one thing can do that: Micropigmentation with permanent ink.
If you're looking for the most real-looking areola's WITH PERMANENT COLOR, why choose to have scars cut into your skin that end up white or blue and obviously missing?
5. SECTION FIVE: Specifically for No reconstruction, No Implants patients
7th Dimension Illusion BreastmoundsTM provide TWO permanent whole breast replications (a matching pair of convincing breasts, not just the areola and nipple, but the whole breast complex) "painted" (implanted with MicroPigmentation) onto your flat chest creating the magical illusion (its mind blowing) that the two breasts are actually there - when they're not - it just LOOKS like they are!
Another option similar to decorative mastectomy covers: 7th Dimension Illusion BoustierTM is the illusion of a bra with underwire or lacey lingerie implanted with permanent ink over the top of the breasts / areola / nipple illusion created earlier with 7th Dimension Illusion BreastmoundsTM.
